We provide a tool that converts your EPUB files into bilingual reading experiences. This service is for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Your Files

Your uploaded EPUBs and translated files are stored temporarily for 7 days to allow re-downloads, after which they are automatically deleted. All files are processed and stored securely.

3. Fair Use

Only upload content you own or have the right to use. We are not responsible for any copyright violations arising from your uploads.

4. Translation Quality

We do our best to provide a smooth, accurate experience — but we can't guarantee 100% perfection in translation, formatting, or uptime.

5. Be Cool

Don't use this service to upload malicious files, scrape data, or otherwise cause trouble. We reserve the right to block abusive behavior.

6. Updates

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll do our best to notify users if anything major changes.

Privacy Policy

At bilingual.press, we take your privacy seriously. Here's what you should know:

1. Your Files

When you upload a book, we store the translated version securely for 7 days so you can download it anytime during that window. After 7 days, both the original and translated files are automatically deleted.

2. How We Store Things

All files are stored in Amazon S3 with encryption at rest and access control to keep your data safe.

3. No Peeking

We do not read, scan, or share your books. They're processed automatically by our system and that's it.

4. Analytics & Cookies

We may use basic analytics (like page visits or error logs) to help improve the site, but we don't sell your data or track you across the web.

5. Your Control

You can request deletion sooner by reaching out to us at support@bilingual.press. But don't worry — we automatically clean up files after 7 days regardless.

6. Updates

We may update this policy if we change how we store or process your data. We'll let you know if anything important changes.

Why Some Ebooks Don't Work Here

The Technical Details

Major ebook stores (Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play Books) encrypt their files and lock them to their apps. This is called DRM (Digital Rights Management). You can read them, but you can't access the actual file.

ePub is an open standard that anyone can use. When you buy a DRM-free ePub, you get the actual file to keep forever, back up, or use with services like ours.

Your Options

• Build an ePub library alongside your existing ebooks
• Look for "DRM-free" when buying from Kobo or other stores
• Download classics from Project Gutenberg or Standard Ebooks
• Support authors directly on platforms like Smashwords
